Just Right Lawns Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 9, 2026
Last Updated: 10/16/2026
Welcome to Just Right Lawns. These Terms of Service govern the lawn care, lawn maintenance, fertilization, weed control, and related services provided by Just Right Lawns (“JRL,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from Just Right Lawns, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms of Service.
Our mission is to make our customers happy, proud, and in love with their lawns. We strive to provide consistent, high-quality service while maintaining clear communication and fair expectations.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
Just Right Lawns provides residential lawn care and related services in designated service areas in Texas. Available services may include:
- Lawn Maintenance: Routine mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing of hard surfaces.
- Fertilization, Weed, and Control (FWC): Lawn fertilization, weed control, and other applicable turf treatments included in the selected program.
- Additional Services: Certain services, such as leaf removal, aeration, grub control, fungicide applications, and other specialized lawn treatments, may be available depending on the property, season, and service area.
Service availability, frequency, pricing, and program details may vary by location and property.
FWC services are currently offered in designated areas of Austin and San Antonio, Texas. FWC services are not available in the Dallas–Fort Worth service area.
We reserve the right to determine whether a property is eligible for service based on its location, size, condition, accessibility, safety, and operational requirements.
2. LAWN MAINTENANCE TERMS
2.1 Service Frequency
Lawn maintenance is provided according to the service plan selected by the Customer:
- Weekly Service: Routine lawn maintenance scheduled approximately once per week.
- Biweekly Service: Routine lawn maintenance scheduled approximately once every two weeks.
- Just Right Special: A seasonal program consisting of weekly service during the designated six-month period and biweekly service during the remaining six-month period, subject to the program offered at enrollment.
Just Right Lawns does not offer monthly mowing, mowing every three weeks, twice-weekly mowing, or one-time mowing during the busy season.
Actual service dates may vary due to weather, holidays, safety conditions, route scheduling, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
2.2 Property Size and Eligibility
Lawn maintenance pricing and eligibility are based on the property's serviceable lawn area and applicable pricing category.
Current property-size limits, pricing, and service eligibility will be confirmed by Just Right Lawns before service begins.
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the property, including lawn size, access, and any relevant conditions that may affect service.
2.3 Minimum Service Commitment
Lawn maintenance service requires a minimum of six completed mowing visits.
If the Customer cancels lawn maintenance before the sixth mowing visit has been completed, an early cancellation fee will apply, subject to applicable law and any agreed exceptions.
This minimum service commitment does not constitute a long-term contract requiring the Customer to continue service indefinitely. After the minimum requirement has been satisfied, the Customer may cancel according to these Terms.
3. FERTILIZATION, WEED, AND CONTROL (FWC) TERMS
3.1 Program Structure
FWC programs are designed around seasonal turf needs and may include fertilization, weed control, pre-emergent applications, insect control, soil amendments, or other treatments included in the selected program.
The standard program generally consists of eight applications per year. Application timing and frequency may vary depending on weather, turf conditions, seasonal requirements, product labels, and agronomic recommendations.
Enrollment in an FWC program does not guarantee a completely weed-free lawn or a particular turf appearance.
3.2 Treatment Recommendations and Results
Lawn conditions are affected by factors including weather, irrigation, soil composition, mowing practices, shade, drainage, pests, diseases, and existing turf health.
Just Right Lawns will make reasonable efforts to apply appropriate treatments according to the selected program and applicable product instructions. However, we cannot guarantee the elimination of all weeds, pests, diseases, or other lawn problems.
Certain conditions may require additional services, corrective treatments, or changes in cultural practices. Services outside the selected program may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before the additional work is performed.
3.3 Property Conditions and Cultural Practices
Customers are responsible for maintaining reasonable lawn care practices, including appropriate irrigation, mowing, and drainage, unless those services are specifically included in the Customer's agreement with JRL.
Just Right Lawns does not control the Customer's irrigation system, soil conditions, weather, or other environmental factors. These conditions may affect treatment performance and lawn recovery.
If a condition requires work outside our scope of service, we may recommend that the Customer consult a qualified specialist.
3.4 Treatment Precautions
Customers must follow the treatment-specific instructions provided by Just Right Lawns and the applicable product label.
Unless otherwise instructed by the product label or a more restrictive direction from JRL, treated areas should remain inaccessible to children and pets until the application has dried and at least two hours have passed.
The product label and any more restrictive safety instructions take precedence over this general guideline.
Customers should inform Just Right Lawns of relevant property conditions before treatment, including sensitive plants, vegetable gardens, water features, known access restrictions, or other concerns that may affect application.
4. SCHEDULING, WEATHER, AND ACCESS
Service schedules are estimates of when work is expected to be completed and may change due to rain, extreme temperatures, wet turf, equipment problems, staffing, safety concerns, or other operational circumstances.
Just Right Lawns may delay, reschedule, or decline service when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for proper service.
The Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the service areas and to secure pets, remove obstacles, and disclose hazards that may interfere with service.
We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible gates, locked yards, unsecured animals, excessive obstacles, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If access is unavailable, additional scheduling or service charges may apply when communicated to the Customer and permitted by law.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
To help us deliver quality service, Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information, service addresses, and property details.
- Maintain safe and reasonable access to the lawn and designated service areas.
- Secure pets and keep children away from active work areas and treated areas as instructed.
- Remove toys, hoses, furniture, pet waste, and other obstacles before scheduled service.
- Identify and communicate known hazards, irrigation components, exposed cables, invisible fencing, and other sensitive property features.
- Follow applicable treatment instructions and communicate relevant changes in lawn conditions.
- Notify Just Right Lawns promptly of concerns regarding completed service.
Customers should mark or clearly identify property features that may not be visible during normal operations. We will use reasonable care while performing services but cannot guarantee that all concealed or unmarked features will be identified.
6. PRICING, BILLING, AND PAYMENT
6.1 Pricing
Prices are based on the service selected, property size, service area, applicable program, and any additional work approved by the Customer.
Any applicable taxes, additional service charges, or adjustments will be communicated as appropriate.
Just Right Lawns may update its pricing from time to time. Changes to an existing Customer's pricing will be communicated before the updated price is charged.
6.2 Payment Method
Customers may be required to maintain a valid payment method on file as a condition of service.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is processed after the applicable service has been completed. By providing a payment method and authorizing its use, the Customer authorizes Just Right Lawns and its payment processor to charge the agreed amount for completed services and any other properly authorized charges.
Customers are responsible for keeping payment information current.
6.3 Failed or Overdue Payments
If a payment fails or an account becomes overdue, Just Right Lawns may contact the Customer to resolve the outstanding balance.
Subject to applicable law and any applicable agreement, we may suspend future services until the balance is resolved. Any additional fees must be disclosed and permitted by law.
6.4 Billing Questions
Customers should contact Just Right Lawns promptly if they believe a charge is incorrect. We will review the service records and billing information and work toward a reasonable resolution.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights the Customer may have under applicable payment or consumer protection laws.
7. CANCELLATIONS AND SERVICE CHANGES
7.1 Lawn Maintenance Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation by contacting Just Right Lawns through an available customer service channel.
If cancellation occurs before the six-mowing minimum is completed, the early cancellation fee described in Section 2.3 may apply.
Once the minimum service commitment has been satisfied, Customers may request cancellation without that early cancellation fee.
The Customer remains responsible for payment for services already completed and any other valid, previously authorized charges.
7.2 FWC Program Changes or Cancellation
Customers may request changes to or cancellation of an FWC program by contacting Just Right Lawns.
Program changes may affect treatment scheduling, pricing, or eligibility. Charges for completed services remain payable.
If a separate written agreement establishes additional cancellation terms, those terms will apply to the extent permitted by law.
7.3 Rescheduling
Just Right Lawns may reschedule services when needed because of weather, operational requirements, safety concerns, or property conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes.
8. SERVICE QUALITY AND SATISFACTION
Customer satisfaction is important to Just Right Lawns.
If you are dissatisfied with a completed lawn maintenance service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion and explain the concern. Where appropriate, we will review the service and determine whether a correction or another reasonable resolution is warranted.
The 24-hour notification period helps us evaluate conditions promptly. It does not eliminate any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
For FWC treatments, visible results may take time and can depend on the treatment, turf species, weather, irrigation, and lawn conditions. Customers should contact us if they have concerns about a treatment or observe an unexpected condition.
Any service guarantee is limited to the specific services and circumstances communicated by Just Right Lawns and applicable law.
9. PROPERTY DAMAGE AND LIABILITY
Just Right Lawns will exercise reasonable care in performing its services.
Customers must disclose known hazards and identify property features that could be damaged during ordinary lawn care operations, including sprinkler heads, landscape lighting, invisible fencing, exposed cables, and other concealed or unmarked items.
To the extent permitted by law, Just Right Lawns is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, concealed or unmarked hazards, defective or improperly installed equipment, inaccurate information provided by the Customer, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for negligence or other conduct to the extent it cannot legally be limited.
Customers should promptly notify Just Right Lawns of suspected service-related property damage so the circumstances can be reviewed.
10. IRRIGATION SYSTEMS AND SPECIALIZED WORK
Unless expressly included in a written service agreement, Just Right Lawns does not inspect, repair, modify, or operate irrigation or sprinkler systems.
If a lawn condition appears to require irrigation system diagnosis or repair, we may recommend that the Customer contact a qualified irrigation professional.
Any additional specialized work must be separately discussed and approved before it is performed.
11. COMMUNICATIONS
Just Right Lawns may contact Customers regarding service inquiries, scheduling, appointment reminders, service notifications, invoices, payment issues, account updates, and customer support through appropriate communication channels, subject to applicable law and any required consent.
Customers who separately opt in to promotional text messaging may receive marketing messages from Just Right Lawns, including special offers, seasonal promotions, and information about our services. Consent to marketing text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing or receiving services.
Message frequency varies depending on the Customer's services and communication preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Customers may reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance, or contact us by email at office@justrightlawns.com or by phone at 512-861-7802. Opt-out requests will be honored in accordance with applicable law. Opting out of promotional texts does not cancel lawn care services.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including our restrictions on sharing that information for third-party marketing.
12. WEBSITE USE
If you access a Just Right Lawns website, you agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent information, or misuse its content or forms.
Website content is provided for general informational purposes. Service availability, pricing, and program details are subject to confirmation by Just Right Lawns.

13. PRIVACY
Just Right Lawns may collect and use information reasonably necessary to provide services, communicate with Customers, process payments, manage accounts, and operate its business.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our applicable Privacy Policy and relevant law.
These Terms of Service should be read together with the Just Right Lawns Privacy Policy.
14. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Just Right Lawns will not be responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, natural disasters, government restrictions, supply disruptions, or other circumstances that make service impractical or unsafe.
We will make reasonable efforts to resume or reschedule affected services when conditions permit.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Just Right Lawns may update these Terms of Service as business practices, services, or applicable laws change.
Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Changes will apply as permitted by law and will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued.
Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent before applying material changes to an existing agreement.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a Customer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.
17. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with any applicable written service agreement, approved service plan, and applicable policies, constitute the agreement governing the services provided by Just Right Lawns.
If a provision in a separately signed service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement will control to the extent of the conflict and as permitted by law.
